Recruitment Profile

Purpose of the position:

UNICC is offering a unique opportunity to acquire practical experience in and direct exposure to a whole range of  human resources activities. The small yet dynamic HR section is involved in a number of exciting projects covering the whole HR spectrum, and offers HR support to staff and Managers in our 5 duty stations. Depending on the profile, the selected intern will have the opportunity to work 50% of her/his time on HR projects related to Recruitment and Selection, Onboarding, Talent Management, L&D, People Analytics, or HR systems, and 50% on supporting the operational work of the section.

Responsibilities could include

1. Assist in publishing vacancies, scheduling interviews, participating to Competency Based Interviews, compiling relevant documentations and finalizing decisions on selections
2. Assist in updating HR databases, in compiling people analytics and in issuing HR reports for the senior management
3. Assist in implementing measures promoting diversity
4. Assist in implementing well-being initiatives
5. Assist in all aspect of HR communication (external sourcing, intranet site)
6. Support DHR in all other HR operational related activities: drafting and verifying HR documents and forms, organizing onsite trainings, assists in visa requests, etc

Education:

To qualify for this internship, applicants must be currently enrolled in a University programme (final year of a Master’s degree or equivalent) with a specialization in Human Resources Management, or must have graduated in the last 6 months.

Work Experience:

Applicants are not required to have professional work experience to participate in ICC’s internships programme, but applicants should have the following functional and technical skills:

1. Ability to use Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel)
2. Good written and oral communications skills with ability to prepare technical documentation
3. Excellent interactive and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment

Languages:

  • Fluency in English is required (verbal and written)
  • Intermediate knowledge of French language is desirable
