Position Description

Duties to be performed:

ICC is looking for an Intern who will work under the overall guidance and direction of the Chief Business Solutions Section in our Valencia office. The responsibilities will include:

  • Assist and participate in the Operation and Business Infrastructure (OPBI) projects, particularly in WAN routers deployment for our clients.
  • Perform hands-on network configurations.

Work experience:

Applicants do not require prior professional work experience but they must have the following functional and technical skills:

  • Basic technical knowledge of TCP/IP networking and protocols.
  • Basic technical knowledge of Cisco routers and switches commands.
  • Basic knowledge of common network services and protocols – like HTTP, DNS, NTP, SYSLOG, SIP.
  • Ability to use Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Visio).
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Education:

To qualify for this internship the applicant must:

  • Be at least 20 years of age.
  • Be enrolled or have been enrolled in the last 6 months in a computer, telecommunications, telematics or other science oriented under-graduate or graduate school program.

Languages:

Fluency in English is required (verbal and written). Fluency in Spanish is desirable.
