Position Description

Purpose of the Position:

The purpose of this position is to provide support to UNICC clients and partners in developing, delivering, and operationalizing support of digital technologies and end-to-end solutions. The incumbent may be called to work with other clients as demands evolve.

Objectives of the Programme:

The objectives of the Centre, is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.

Main duties and responsibilities:

The incumbent works under the supervision and guidance of the Chief, Digital Delivery Division (DD) within the Digital Delivery division and in close collaboration across all UNICC teams. The incumbent could be requested to do any other tasks of similar level in related fields.

The incumbent will perform the following duties:

  • Develop, refine, and implement a UNICC DevSecOps model across UNICC development, security, and operations teams for improved interoperability and scalable operationalization of UNICC services and platforms
  • Conduct Digital Strategy & Digital Maturity assessments, facilitated user-centric design thinking sessions and interface, in collaboration with the Chief, Digital Delivery Division, with executive/senior business and technology leaders
  • Under guidance, lead the Strategy and Roadmap efforts for specific clients, including Discovery analysis of current and target states with tangible approach, proof of concept, and multi-year roadmap development
  • Guide and support multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams in program/project execution, implementation, monitoring and assessment; direct review of relevant documents and reports; identify priorities, problems and issues to be addressed and propose corrective actions; liaise with relevant parties; identify and initiate follow-up actions
  • Monitor both internal and vendor resources for successful Solutions delivery
  • In collaboration with the Chief, Digital Delivery Division, propose and develop capabilities with a Product Management approach and mindset toward long-term product and service definition
  • Provide Quality Assurance analysis associated to Digital domain expertise, ensuring a high standard of deliverables from both internal and external resources
  • Participate in the development of service capabilities with embedded frameworks, patterns, and models into sustainable, repeatable processes
  • Support effective Change Management for successful adoption including training, communications, KPIs, etc.
  • In collaboration with the Chief, Digital Delivery Division, propose and manage outreach activities; design and conduct training workshops, seminars, etc., make presentations on assigned topics/activities
  • Maintain and develop collaboration and partnerships with key officials inside and outside the organization
  • Ensure appropriate Governance inclusive of approval processes, milestones, financial diligence
  • Support effective management of Stakeholders’ expectations
  • Participate, lead, and contribute to proposal assessment and response for strategic customer/partner engagements
  • Support the Chief, Digital Delivery Division in strategic and transformational digital capability development, through incorporation of innovative and emerging services where relevant
  • Provide other ad hoc support either within your team or in other teams as required – this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part-time or full-time basis upon request from the senior management

Other duties:

  • The incumbent may be required to provide “stand-by” services during weekends, holidays and outside normal working hours
  • The incumbent may be required to take on any other duties upon request

Recruitment Profile

Experience and Skills required:

Essential:

  • Seven (7) years or more of progressive ICT experience, including experience in managing multiple groups of technical resources and technical projects; with at least five years in multi-cultural and global international environment
  • Demonstrated experience in information technology consulting across multiple business domains, specifically to senior business and ICT leadership teams
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder IT projects using both Agile such as SCRUM, and structured methodologies such as PRINCE2
  • Demonstrated experience in Cloud technologies
  • Very good understanding of digital services such as Data & Analytics, Robotics Process Automation, Security, Cloud services, ERP systems, platform migrations
  • Ability to promote positive relationships between UNICC, the client, and its customers
  • Strong negotiating skills and excellent interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • Marketing experience
  • Contract and Service Level Management
  • Pre-/Post-sales customer support
  • Negotiation skills

Education*:

Essential:

  • Advanced university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, MBA, or related field

Desirable:

  • Service Management qualification, such as ITIL or ISO 20000
  • Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2

Languages:

  • Expert knowledge of English is required
  • Knowledge of Spanish or French is desirable

Annual Salary Estimation (net of tax at single rate):

  • Valencia, (Spain) including post adjustment (25,6% on September 2022): US$ 94,956
