The United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC), with the support of the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations in Geneva, has the pleasure to invite you to the Launch of the UNICC Cybersecurity Fund (CSF) for the UN System.

Closed to the public

The rise of sophisticated cyber threats targeting the UN system and its critical data requires a robust, unified cybersecurity response. The establishment of the CSF is a direct action to address the recommendations made by the Joint Inspection Unit (JIU) and directed to UNICC in its report “Cybersecurity in the United Nations system organizations” (JIU/REP/2021/3). By fostering collaboration and shared solutions, the CSF will strengthen the collective approach demanded by current cybersecurity practices, enhancing the cyber-resilience of the entire UN system.

This event will bring partners and stakeholders together to explore how the CSF can transform cybersecurity across the UN system. It will also be an opportunity to present an update on UNICC’s current efforts in supporting UN agencies to address evolving cyber threats and its work to strengthen the system’s collective cybersecurity posture.
