The Swiss Development Cooperation supports DHoTS, because it is a precursor of the current humanitarian reset: It shares financial transaction providers among international organizations and substantially lowers their costs. It promotes innovation, e.g. by applying blockchain technology to better target and more safely reach cash assistance beneficiaries and by using artificial intelligence to better manage the cashflow and liquidity.
