La tecnología desempeña un papel importante en el futuro de la educación inclusiva y de calidad. Garantizar la educación para todos y promover el aprendizaje durante toda la vida supone un propósito muy ambicioso para los sistemas educativos de todo el mundo. Se debe lograr no solo la enseñanza primaria universal sino también la ampliación de la educación universal desde la primera infancia hasta la secundaria, al tiempo que se logran resultados de aprendizaje pertinentes y se mantiene una trayectoria de aprendizaje permanente para todas las personas.
