The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.
Background information:
UNICC is currently in need for a consultant that will provide a comprehensive and rapid access to qualified and skilled resources on the Digital Treasury Solutions area
Main duties and responsibilities:
The consultant will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Product Manager within the Digital Products Unit (DSDP) and in close collaboration with the other DHoTS teams. The consultant shall ensure completion of the following deliverables:
- Implement FSP connectivity for a number of selected FSPs within the UN FIS Trax shared payment gateway
- Provide advisory on Trax infrastructure, suggest performance improvements for its future expansion
- Following the unit’s best practices,own product backlog and provide effort estimations, manage risk & prioritize tasks
- Provide guidance in decisions for product migration or their upgrade life cycle
- Support IS020022 payment implementation and migration for UN system within FIS Trax shared payment gateway
- Collaborate in bank relationship management, onboarding and coordination for the selected FSPs onboarding
- Provide design solutions for product enhancements as required
- Provide guidance and enable DHoTS team members for any Trax related issues
- Review and collect FSP/Agency documentation on FIS Trax build
- Collaborate in the development of Standard Operating Procedures for DHoTS for the following
- FSP Connectivity
- Payment types and payment types configuration
- Provide incdent resolution for the assigned DHoTs operations
- Develop technical recommendation to avoid DHoTS configuration conflicts
- Conduct and manage relevant testing processes for the selected FSP connectivity
- Advise relevant stakeholders and support new agency onboarding process
Recruitment Profile
Experience and Skills required:
Essential:
- At least four (4) years of relevant IT/Fintech experience
- Proven experience in two or more of the following tools and technologies:
- Treasury Management Systems (ERP Treasury, FIS TRAX)
- Financial Message Formats (ISO20022, SWIFT MTs)
- Payment type (domestic, cross-border, SEPA)
- Customer to Bank connectivity (H2H, SWIFT, EBICS)
- Java & Groovy Scripting
- Understanding of Payment Ecosystem and infrastructure terminologies
- Thorough knowledge of FIS Trax and its various modules
Desirable:
- Understanding of SQL concepts
Education:
Essential:
- First university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Finance, Business Management or related field
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Interfacing, API configuration, Server level configuration
Languages:
- English: Expert knowledge is required

Compensation:
Fee will be based either on the National Officer salary scales or the Individual Consultancy band levels (for Headquarters)
