Purpose of the Position:

The purpose of the post is to provide M365 technical advice and support within the Cloud Services Section (OPD), including supporting the team on the implementation and on-going support of M365 services for UNICC and its clients.

Objectives of the Programme:

The objectives of the Centre, as stated by its mandate, are to provide information and communication technology (ICT) services (including training) on an inter-organizational basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head, Digital Workplace Service Unit within the Operations Division and under the guidance of the Messaging Engineering Group lead and in close collaboration with the Digital Workplace Service team. The incumbent could be requested to do any others tasks of similar level in related fields.

The incumbent will perform the following duties:

  • Provide M365 tenant administration and management; administer the global tenant policies according to the goveranance and best practices; administer and configure different M365 products
  • In close collaboration with the relevant team members, propose, adapt, support in the implementation, delivery and configuration of optimized scalable Microsoft 365 email solutions and related systems as well as other M365 services for UNICC partners organizations
  • Under guidance, responsible for implementing, managing and maintaining standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools
  • Identify technical problems, propose and implement solutions
  • Participate in the development of solutions adapted to the needs of internal and external customers, end-users and all stakeholders; communicate trends to management and support M365 product improvements
  • Support the evolution of the M365 services by contributing to the design and implementation of new service features
  • Work in close collaboration with other technical teams including Information Security, Architecture, Service Management, etc.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal efficiency and customer satisfaction by identifying opportunities to optimize existing processes and tools
  • Produce draft technical documentation on the M365 services and related procedures and operations
  • Keep abreast of Microsoft 365 good practices, new trends and services and evaluate these for possible adoption within UNICC
  • Provide other ad hoc support either within your team or in other teams as required – this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part-time or full time basis upon request from the senior management.

Recruitment Profile

Experience and Skills required:

Essential:

At least two years of relevant IT experience in the following areas:

  • Experience working with customers on Cloud and M365 specific solutions and deployments
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience as global administrator for Microsoft 365 tenant
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019/ Exchange Online; MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Busines, Power Platform, Security and Compliance, Yammer and othres
  • Experience in scripting to automate processes in MS Exchange, Sharepoint Online, Teams and other M365 components
  • Excellent knowledge of Mail Gateway, message hygiene and protection, Spam and Virus filtering systems, MS Defender, SMTP Relay
  • Experience in analysing, troubleshooting and proposing solutions for technical issues
  • Good knowledge of MS Active Directory / Azure

 Desirable:

  • Exposure in Information Security Management System (ISMS: ISO 27001), ITIL framework and other industry standards
  • Good knowledge and experience on Microsoft Technology landscape including various server products
  • Knowledge of general architecture, deployment and administration methodologies and techniques

Education:

Essential:

  • First university degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Mathematics or related field
  • Microsoft 365 Certification(s)

 Desirable:

  • Other related Microsoft Certifications

Languages:

  • English: Expert knowledge is required

Compensation:

Annual Salary Estimation (net of tax at single rate): 

  • Brindisi, (Italy), including post adjustment (25,7% on November 2020): US$ 59,483.
  • Valencia, (Spain), including post adjustment (29,6% on November 2020): US$ 61,329.
