ICC Sets up Shop with UNDP to support Asian Clients
Enterprise SharePoint support for Asian Development Bank
After the Asian Development Bank joined ICC in 2017, ICC began to work on a support presence for Asian Clients at the Green One UN House (GOUNH) in Hanoi, Vietnam. This is a forward-looking and innovative office that ICC has been involved with now for several years, in the coordination and the implementation of their shared infrastructure for their 12 different UN Agencies.
The first ICC work and personnel, situated in the UNDP office there, will be to support the ADB’s Enterprise SharePoint administration, with a first consultant beginning in early June (and plans for a second as soon as possible).
Harald Astrand has been instrumental in assisting GOUNH for several years, with setup and implementation of the office driven by Willy Tan Yee Seng, with great support from Tara Das and the ICC technical teams.

Harald has also overen installation of ICC’s OneICTbox at the GOUNH and managed verification of connectivity to common services and to ICC resources.
The GOUNH Common Services Unit at GOUNH was super helpful with assistance and hospitality, including:

- Nguyen Truong Giang – GOUNH ICT Manager
- Tran Hong – Head of Procurement Unit.
ADB has approved the service guide for this support and the project will begin in June.
While ICC considers this a presence in the Hanoi GOUNH and not an office per se, it is a great leap forward to provide timely (and nearby time zone) support for Clients worldwide. It demonstrates ICC’s ongoing collaboration with UNDP and other Partners to optimise digital business support and professional service delivery.
