The role also entails strategic communication with external stakeholders, ensuring effective outreach and relationship-building.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\">Main duties and responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Executive Assistant to the Director (DOD), and in close collaboration with the Director, the Director\u2019s Office, and the External Relations and Strategic Partnerships Section (DOE).<\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will assume the following duties:<\/p>\n<p><u>Conceptualization and Coordination of Meetings and Events<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under guidance of the Executive Assistant to the Director, design, plan, and execute events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring alignment with the organization&rsquo;s strategic objectives<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate logistical and technical aspects of events, including venue selection, agenda development, speaker engagement, and participant management<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution<\/li>\n<li>Under guidance of the Executive Assistant to the Director, coordinate post-event debriefing, feedback collection, and reporting to improve future events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Assistance to the Director for High-Level Meetings<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Following DOD best practices, organize and coordinate arrangements for high-level meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and briefing materials<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely follow-up on action points and commitments arising from meetings<\/li>\n<li>Support in drafting debriefing reports and key takeaways for internal and external distribution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u style=\"font-size: revert;background-color: var(--bs-body-bg);color: var(--bs-body-color);font-family: var(--bs-body-font-family);font-weight: var(--bs-body-font-weight);text-align: var(--bs-body-text-align)\">Communication with External Entities<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When required, serve as a contact point for external stakeholders, fostering relationships with key actors in International Geneva and beyond<\/li>\n<li>Draft and review correspondence, presentations, and reports tailored to different audiences<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the appropriate tone and messaging are used in all communications, adapting to diplomatic, corporate, and civil society contexts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":13,"featured_media":54149,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":true,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"jobpost_category":[883],"jobpost_job_type":[21],"jobpost_location":[23],"jobpost_tag":[],"class_list":["post-67143","jobpost","type-jobpost","status-unpublished","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","jobpost_category-consultancy","jobpost_job_type-public","jobpost_location-geneva-switzerland"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.5 -
