The incumbent will undertake a wide arrange of deliveries, such as simulation of real-world attackers, intrusions and purple team exercises.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Objectives of the Programme<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>UNICC provides the digital foundations that support the digital transformation and future of the UN system and other international organizations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\">Main duties and responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Cybersecurity Specialist and will be in close collaboration with the Cybersecurity Assurance and Architecture Section (CSA) and wider Cybersecurity Division (CS). The incumbent could be requested to do any other tasks of similar level in related fields.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct white, grey, and black box penetration testing of web, mobile, API, network, and cloud environments, using both manual and automated techniques<\/li>\n<li>Design and execute adversary emulation scenarios informed by threat intelligence to assess real-world resilience against advanced threats<\/li>\n<li>Prepare high-quality, standardized security assessment reports, including technical findings, mapped severity ratings (e.g., CVSS), business impact analysis, and prioritized remediation guidance<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate communication process with clients, delivering clear, concise, and professional presentations of testing results to both technical and executive stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Lead the design and implementation of standardized processes, templates, and best practices to ensure consistent quality across security assessments, reporting, and client deliverables, promoting a culture of integrity, professionalism, and data confidentiality in all interactions and deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on elevating the team&#8217;s performance, reporting homogeneity, and client satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other<\/strong>: Provide ad hoc support either within the team or in other teams as required \u2013 this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part-time or full-time basis upon request from the senior management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":13,"featured_media":54149,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"jobpost_category":[19],"jobpost_job_type":[21],"jobpost_location":[22,26,25],"jobpost_tag":[],"class_list":["post-68330","jobpost","type-jobpost","status-unpublished","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","jobpost_category-vacancy","jobpost_job_type-public","jobpost_location-brindisi-italy","jobpost_location-rome-italy","jobpost_location-valencia-spain"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>United Nations Jobs | Penetration Testing Officer | Brindisi | Rome | Valencia | UNICC<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Penetration Testing Officer \u2013 United Nations International Computing Center.
