UNICC is dedicated to the SDGs, making SDG-5 (Gender Equality) and SDG-10 (Reduce Inequalities) the organization goals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/sustainable-development-goals\/\"><strong>https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/sustainable-development-goals\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Background information<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Cybersecurity Consultant will provide support to UNICC clients and partners, to run cybersecurity programmes and initiatives delivered by the Cybersecurity Division, with guidance from the head of Cybersecurity Strategy and Solution Unit (CSS).<\/p>\n<p>As part of United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC)&#8217;s commitment to providing comprehensive cybersecurity services to its clients, the Cybersecurity Division (CS) is establishing a dedicated program for our partner organizations. This program aims to deliver top-tier cybersecurity solutions and services, manage client expectations, and maintain financial oversight for multiple services under its umbrella.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\">Main duties and responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will report to the Head, Cybersecurity Solutions and Strategy Unit (CSS). The Cybersecurity Consultant will collaborate in the planning, implementation, and execution of Security Blueprint for our clients and partners. The individual will contribute to ensure the program\u2019s alignment with the client\u2019s security goals, delivering solutions and services on time and within budget while maintaining financial sustainability.<\/p>\n<p><u>Leadership:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the guidance of the Head, CSS, collaborate in the implementation and follow-up of the Blueprint program, ensuring the successful delivery of agreed-upon services<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the client and service owners within UNICC, particularly the Cybersecurity Division, regarding program-related matters<\/li>\n<li>Under the guidance of the Head, CSS, collaborate in the monitoring og the program\u2019s overall progress, budget, timeline, and scope by working closely with the Section Chief Information Management Services Section or their delegate, from UNICC or its clients and partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Performance and Risk Management<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Following the unit\u2019s best practices, monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies<\/li>\n<li>Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices, frameworks, and emerging trends<\/li>\n<li>Adapt to the client\u2019s policies and frameworks for project management and risk management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Implementation and Delivery<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the guidance of the Head, CSS, supervise and coordinate the implementation of the projects<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and propose improvements to the Blueprint for cybersecurity to enhance our clients\u2019 cybersecurity posture<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate in the delivery of cybersecurity solutions designed to mitigate cybersecurity risks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Compliance and Advisory<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Following the unit\u2019s best practices, advise clients on compliance with relevant best practices, regulations, and standards<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that program deliverables align with established cybersecurity governance frameworks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Stakeholder Engagement<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external vendors<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate in the delivery of periodic status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Other<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The incumbent of this position is expected to recurrently work at UNICC\u2019s clients\u2019 premises in The Hague, The Netherlands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":13,"featured_media":54149,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":true,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"jobpost_category":[883],"jobpost_job_type":[21],"jobpost_location":[81],"jobpost_tag":[],"class_list":["post-67010","jobpost","type-jobpost","status-unpublished","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","jobpost_category-consultancy","jobpost_job_type-public","jobpost_location-remote"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.5 -
