Applications are encouraged from all qualified candidates without distinction on grounds of race, ethnicity, sex, national origin, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Purpose of the Position<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to help drive UNICC\u2019s overall talent management strategies.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Objectives of the Programme<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\">Main duties and responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head, Talent Management, within the Human Resources Section (MSH) and in close collaboration with the human resources team. The incumbent could be<br \/>\nrequested to do any other tasks of similar level in related fields.<\/p>\n<p>Under guidance, the incumbent will perform the following duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the implementation of the UNICC talent strategy to attract and retain talents with a specific focus on talent acquisition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Selection planning and partnership with managers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise and collaborate with managers to plan their upcoming selections and carry out ongoing selection processes<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the selection process complies with relevant UNICC Selection policy. Propose enhancements to the policy and processes<\/li>\n<li>Analyse, monitor and report on selection processes for management, including reports on gender parity, diversity etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure an excellent planification of the selection processes and apply a data driven approach to enhance the efficiency of selection planning<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain SOPs and manager guidelines for new process introductions or process enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain monitoring tools to facilitate the coordination of the selection processes with other HR stakeholders involved in the talent cycle (workforce planning, HR operations for Onboarding and final recruitment steps)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Outreach and sourcing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate actively in the sourcing strategy including the development and implementation of outreach activities to improve diversity including gender parity at UNICC<\/li>\n<li>Build, maintain and develop UNICC\u2019s talent pools, rosters, and pipelines for future staffing needs, ensuring a consistent supply of qualified candidates for various positions<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen UNICC\u2019s brand as an attractive employer: promote UNICC\u2019s mission, values, and opportunities to prospective candidates, both through online platforms and in-person interactions<\/li>\n<li>Ensure an excellent talent experience to the candidates applying to UNICC, guarantee candidate\u2019s engagement throughout the selection process<\/li>\n<li>Expand partnerships with relevant academic institutions to attract young talents and collaborate on capstone projects<\/li>\n<li>Participate in talent fairs and other events to improve candidate attraction<\/li>\n<li>Manage and further develop Youth talent initiatives, including the different Youth programs<\/li>\n<li>Continuously monitor and stay abreast of market best practices and formulate innovative proposal to integrate them in UNICC\u2019s talent acquisition strategy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Management of the selection team<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage, guide, develop and coach the Unit team members<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the HR coordination meetings<\/li>\n<li>Foster a sense of belonging of the team members and create a conducing environment for exchanges and implementation of the operational day to day work<\/li>\n<li>Create and ensure a harmonious working dynamic among the team members<\/li>\n<li>Provide mentoring for junior team members or talent interns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the Learning and Development unit on projects related to talent acquisition, performance management, staff engagement and career development<\/li>\n<li>Provide other ad hoc support either within your team or in other teams as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":125,"featured_media":54149,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"jobpost_category":[19],"jobpost_job_type":[21],"jobpost_location":[25],"jobpost_tag":[],"class_list":["post-60669","jobpost","type-jobpost","status-unpublished","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","jobpost_category-vacancy","jobpost_job_type-public","jobpost_location-valencia-spain"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>United Nations Jobs | Human Resources Officer (Talent Management) | Valencia | UNICC<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Human Resources Officer (Talent Management) \u2013 United Nations International Computing Center.
