Applications are encouraged from all qualified candidates without distinction on grounds of race, ethnicity, sex, national origin, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Purpose of the Position<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to provide support to UNICC\u2019s partners, support Cybersecurity Operations activities in collaboration with UNICC\u2019s team of information and cybersecurity professionals who collaborate with IT professionals from multiple UN agencies and International Organizations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Objectives of the Programme<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><span style=\"color: #006cb5;text-decoration: underline\">Main duties and responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head, Cybersecurity Operations (CSO) within the Cybersecurity Division (CS) and in close collaboration with the CSO teams. The incumbent could be requested to do any others tasks of similar level in related fields.<\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will perform the following duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform relevant actionable intelligence analysis on current cyber threats, including analysis of security alerts and incident response reports<\/li>\n<li>Identify and report on relevant cyber threat information from security operations monitoring teams<\/li>\n<li>Perform analysis and interpretation of data and potential threats using various intelligence gathering and reporting tools and frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with different cybersecurity teams (SOC, CTI, IR) to provide contextual visibility for\u00a0 ongoing investigations and serve as an escalation point from security analysts<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the research and analysis of different cyber threats relevant for UNICC and its UN partner organizations<\/li>\n<li>Propose optimization and automation strategies for processes involved in collecting and disseminating information across technical controls (SIEM, EDR, NDR)<\/li>\n<li>Under guidelines provided by the Head, CSO, coordinate technical team members analyzing and delivering cyber threat information<\/li>\n<li>In close collaboration with the relevant team members and under guidance of the Head, CSO, communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other: <\/strong>Provide other ad hoc support either within your team or in other teams as required \u2013 this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part-time or full time basis upon request from the senior management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":13,"featured_media":54149,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"jobpost_category":[19],"jobpost_job_type":[21],"jobpost_location":[22,24,25],"jobpost_tag":[],"class_list":["post-59072","jobpost","type-jobpost","status-unpublished","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","jobpost_category-vacancy","jobpost_job_type-public","jobpost_location-brindisi-italy","jobpost_location-new-york-usa","jobpost_location-valencia-spain"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>United Nations Jobs | Associate Cybersecurity Operations Officer | Brindisi | New York | Valencia | UNICC<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Associate Cybersecurity Operations Officer \u2013 United Nations International Computing Center.
