Applications are encouraged from all qualified candidates without distinction on grounds of race, ethnicity, sex, national origin, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #996b6a;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Purpose of the Position<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this post is to provide support in the administration of the UNICC\u2019s Platform Operations infrastructure as well as customer dedicated systems.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #996b6a;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Objectives of the Programme<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><span style=\"color: #996b6a;text-decoration: underline\">Main duties and responsibilities:<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Team Lead, Platform Operations team, and under the guidance of the Head, Infrastructure and Platform Operations Unit (OPBO) within the Operations Division (OP). The position will also be working in close collaboration with the Infrastructure, Platform, Networking, Data Center and Operations support teams. The incumbent will perform the following duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide operational support in the administration of the UNICC\u2019s Platform Services as well as UNICC\u2019s customer dedicated systems, including but not limited to:\n<ul>\n<li>Administration of Windows server environments<\/li>\n<li>Design, installation, and configuration of windows servers both on-premises and public cloud<\/li>\n<li>Support server OS and Application deployments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain detailed technical and graphical documentation for sharing knowledge purposes and to address performance management issues<\/li>\n<li>Perform scheduled and ad-hoc patch management and OS deployments to ensure optimal system performance<\/li>\n<li>Implement and maintain solutions and technologies to address cybersecurity issues<\/li>\n<li>Perform assessments and audits of compliance against the OS security policies and standards for supported operating systems<\/li>\n<li>Improve and maintain monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions to ensure continuity for service delivery<\/li>\n<li>Under guidance, interact with customers, management, and staff on a technical level, as required<\/li>\n<li>Act as a technical expert in Server systems administration and systems management<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the resolution of incidents and problems, service requests as per service level metrics and targets;
