Applications are encouraged from all qualified candidates without distinction on grounds of race, ethnicity, sex, national origin, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #996b6a;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Purpose of the Position<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to provide technical support of the applications under the portfolio of Business Solutions Unit.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #996b6a;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Objectives of the Programme<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><span style=\"color: #996b6a;text-decoration: underline\">Main duties and responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head, Business Solutions Unit (DSB) within the Digital Solutions Centre Division (DS), and in close collaboration with the DSB team. The incumbent could be requested to do any other tasks of similar level in related fields.<\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will perform the following duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide tier-2 application support (incident, request fulfilment, problem, and change\/release management), ensuring appropriate logging and tracking of resolution as per established procedures<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support for software applications managed by UNICC for its partners<\/li>\n<li>Under guidance, install, configure, maintain (environment refreshes, application of patches, etc.) and support the application technology stack in the application environments<\/li>\n<li>Provide support and maintain support and maintain communication with users\/customers, maintaining the principle of customer service excellence<\/li>\n<li>Produce technical documentation as required<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate and provide ad hoc support either within her\/his team or in other teams \u2013 this includes the participation in special projects (code migrations, application and database upgrades, etc.) or support to service delivery for short periods, on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the organization needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":13,"featured_media":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"jobpost_category":[19],"jobpost_job_type":[21],"jobpost_location":[22],"jobpost_tag":[],"class_list":["post-22115","jobpost","type-jobpost","status-unpublished","hentry","jobpost_category-vacancy","jobpost_job_type-public","jobpost_location-brindisi-italy"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>United Nations Jobs | Application Support Technician | Brindisi | UNICC<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Application Support Technician \u2013 United Nations International Computing Center.
