Details
Storage-on-Demand offers RAID protected storage on an as-needed basis.
In addition to a subscription fee to the service, a usage fee based on the
amount of storage allocated is applied.
ICC staff assists clients with the specification, purchase, installation and configuration of items related to accessing this service either from servers in the ICC Data Centre or servers at their location. Attachment to the ICC SAN and the support of attached elements are subject to the SAN vendor
compatibility matrix.
ICC envisages expanding both the depth and breadth of this service offering to include Network Attached Storage (NAS), Disaster Recovery (DR) copies and Intelligent storage management consulting.
Service Options
- TSM Backups/Restores are available via ICC’s LAN Backup Service
- Additional fibre channel ports on the ICC SAN are available and are charged on a monthly basis
