Details
The Website Hosting service provides a highly secure, high performance environment with maximum availability. Clients may select their preferred hosting environment
from Microsoft Windows Server and Internet Information Server, or Redhat Linux and Apache.
The hosting environment comprises a two-tier architecture consisting of a production server and a staging server. This architecture provides the ability to develop and test
website content and functionality independently from the production website.
All production websites are located in a dedicated Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) protected by firewalls to provide a high level of security. ICC maintains
two high-speed Internet access points with separate providers to ensure high availability and performance.
Included in the service is an SQL database of up to 100 MB. Like the websites, the database is also configured in a two-tier architecture, staging and production, providing the same set of benefits.
Connection from the website to the SQL database is via ODBC.
Publishing of data from the client site to the staging server is accomplished by FTP.
