WFP Outsourcing Completion of Phase I
Following an ICT Infrastructure Assessment, a Service Delivery Agreement was signed between the World Food Programme (WFP) and ICC in December 2007 for ICT Infrastructure Hosting.
This was a challenging project for both organizations and included the following services for Hosting, Platform and Application Support:
- Operation of infrastructure in Rome and Geneva
- Hardware provisioning
- Operating System Management and monitoring
- SAP environment support
- VMware ESX administration
- Oracle and SQL server management
- Website hosting
- Lotus Notes, Novell and MS file/print services
- Enterprise backup
- Email anti-virus and anti-spam services
- Disaster Recovery
All services are covered by 7/24 problem management support.
Phase I of the project completed as planned and subsequent work, which is part of Phase II, is underway.
Following the early success of this agreement, other Partner Organizations have requested an ICT Infrastructure Assessment from ICC.
