ICC Advantages

Partnership

ICC works in close partnership with its clients using an iterative solution design process that helps find the best balance between quality and cost. ICC never presents a "best and final offer" but instead opens and maintains a dialog with its clients that engages both the IT and Business areas. ICC works until all stakeholders are satisfied with the proposed technical solution, the service levels and costs.

ICC consistently goes beyond basic service expectations to help our clients implement complete solutions.

Cost Recovery

ICC makes no profit in a commercial sense and has no expenditure in marketing or publicity. As a cooperative, ICC operates on a cost-recovery basis. One ICC competitive advantage rests with its ability to drive down service costs through generating economies of scale. Thus, the expansion of ICC's business represents a cost savings opportunity for all ICC clients.

Client Account Management

At the strategic level, through the Management Committee, clients actively participate in ICC's governance mechanism. The Client Account Management programme helps ICC build upon this working relationship and acquire a broader perspective on its clients' business and operations requirements. This, in turn, enables ICC to anticipate their future needs.

At the contractual level, each client has an Account Manager providing information on budget and usage, analysing options, evaluating new services needs and opportunities, and answering questions when they arise.

UN Immunity

All data hosted by ICC is protected under the framework of the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations, helping to ensure its inviolability.

Experience with the UN

With over 40 years' experience as an IT service provider within the UN family, ICC is uniquely positioned to understand the complex needs and constraints within which Patners must operate.

IT best practice and audit

ICC continually pursues initiatives to ensure that it is delivering high-quality services in line with Partners' expectations of a service provider and has adopted best practice framework and standards such as ITIL, ISO/IEC 27001:2005 and PRINCE2.

ICC also pursues a number of relevant certifications and independent audits based on international standards such as SAS 70 and ISAE 3402 to ensure that a complete and effective set of operation controls are in place.
